Defloration

Hello everyone,

today I was planning the whole day the courses and schedules for my exchange quarter at the KTH in Stockholm.

As soon as I got enrolled to ME2809, Trendspotting & Future Thinking I received a mail and I found out that I will have to blog to pass this class.

Actually I have been quite a few times abroad like half a year in South Afrika and a semester in Spain and California. Whenever I left home I considered to start blogging to let the people at home know what is happening in my life... but in the end I never did. I think I could never bring myself to start blogging as for me personally travel blogs of other people are annoying. I am not keen on seeing people I hardly know on picures in front of famous sights. I do have my own life and some people I am interested in. With them I want to share nice expierences, but I dislike people I haven't been talking to for ages spamming me with emails and blog-updates assuming I am interested in their life and demanding my time to read trough their stories.

But now I finally do have the opportunity to start blogging! And I am doing it for myself (as I want to do well in class), for some people I like and I know that they are interested in my life and for sure for the lecturers of the course ME2809. It seems like my hesitations make sense in the end.

I think that is enough for my first blog session... the course has not even started yet.

Maybe next time I will tell something more about mef or post a picture of myself in front of a world famous sight ;-)
